Kenya, with its rich fauna, diverse landscapes, beautiful beaches and extensive coral reefs along the coast is unique in the world.

Kenya is not only a paradise for water sports, fishing, ocean-fishing, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, even on domestic sports such as golf, tennis and horse riding you do not need to renounce.

The great wealth of this country is undoubtedly the unique nature. In total there are 59 national parks and reserves. The most popular national parks are:

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Tsavo East, Tsavo West National Park
Shimba Hills, Wasini Island,
Shimoni and Watamu Marine National Park

More than 50 ethnic groups with about 40 million people are currently living in Kenya. The capital city is Nairobi with about 6 million people. The second largest city, Mombasa, located on the coast, with about 1.5 million people has the most important port in East Africa.

The highest mountain in Kenya is Mount Kenya with 5,199 meters. Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa with 5,895 meters, lies directly on the border to Kenya in Tanzania.

The population consists of 39% of Protestants, 28% Catholics, 25% indigenous beliefs, 7% Muslim and some Hindus.

The people of Kenya are considered as friendly, helpful and approachable.
